What an amazing do-it-yourself wedding!!

Ashli & Brent came together with their families to design each and every charming element of this summer-themed beach wedding. The entire wedding was casually sophisticate with the use of yellows, oranges, and blues.

Although the weather was fairly unpredictable that day, we did not let it get us down!

The woody in the background was a surprise for Ashli & Brent from their families. So cute, right?!

Each element of the wedding decor was handmade by the bride and her mom.
The bride wore a beautiful gown and was complimented just perfectly by her bridesmaids in royal blue! Instead of the classic idea of one wedding cake, Ashli & Brent decided to go with a dessert table…it was a huge hit with all of the guests!What a gorgeous summer-themed wedding! We enjoyed working with Ashli, Brent & their families to make this day an amazing and memorable one.

What usually comes to mind when someone mentions a Vegas destination wedding… Elvis? “A Little White Chapel”? Shot-gun wedding? The wedding of Sarah Frick and JR Kinsey is nothing of the sort..

Engaged on Christmas day of last year, Sarah and JR have set the date for April 7, 2012.

With ideas of royal purple, dark blue, and subtle shades of tan, Sarah and JR’s wedding will blow those Vegas wedding ideas out of the water!

The venue has yet to be decided, but will definitely be one of elegance and sophistication.

Overflowing floral displays in different shades of purples and yellows, antique lanterns and birdcages, mason jars filled with flowers for table centerpieces and to end the night, an exit in an antique classic car… Sounds amazing, right?!

This is the feel for Jilian and Bryan’s wedding – set for December 18, 2011 at Tavern and Chapel in the Garden in Port Orange.

The planning has begun!

We are very excited to welcome our newest couple to Lindsay Rachael Events – Brittany West and Warner Shue!

Their wedding is set for April 27, 2012 at The Shores Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach.

The feel of the wedding is Spring Elegance – floral accents in pinks, peaches, ivories and whites.

We are thrilled to begin the planning and cannot wait for Brittany and Warner’s big day!

We want to welcome Darcy and Aaron! It was a last minute meeting, but it was great getting to know this couple and talk about ideas for their special day.

Darcy wants an old hollywood/vintage/modern glam feeling to the wedding with black and white damask and pops of green. We are going to have so much fun planning and designing!

Their ceremony will be at Sugarmill Gardens in Port Orange in October. We are looking at reception venues, today actually. Mark Dickinson Photography will be capturing every special moment.

With the holidays right around the corner and weddings in December coming up, I wanted to share some ideas with you. Christmas decor allows many options when used for a wedding. From the traditional use of red and green to the modern silver and ice blue you can create a winter wonderland!

Autumn must be my favorite season…even though Florida doesn’t offer much in fall colors. I love weddings during the fall season and the use of the fantastic bold colors and bringing nature into the decor.

Welcome and congrats to Kate and Jim! Lindsay Rachael Events will be coordinating all of the events for their wedding day this Decemeber. Their ceremony will be held in Ormond Beach with reception at LPGA in Daytona Beach. I love working at LPGA-great staff and perfect venue for beautiful pictures. Mark Dickinson Photography will be on hand capturing all of the special moments. Simply Roses from Ormond Beach will be providing all of the flowers and decor.
